Jeep Wagoneer S will roll into U.S. dealerships as the electric SUV model of their initial electric lineup. Jeep is starting many new initiatives since it got new executives.
Bob Broderdorf reached his personal Bingo in Stellantis when he took charge of Jeep North America after managing all other brands. His brief time in leadership saw Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares resign so he now answers to Filosa who both runs North America and leads Jeep worldwide.
We still wait for the launch of the electric Jeep Recon vehicle.
The 2025 launch of Jeep Recon will bring an all-electric off-road capable vehicle below the Wrangler level with STLA Large platform while waiting for its STLA Frame version to launch as the electric Wrangler. We look forward to learning more about the Recon as Broderdorf believes customers will enjoy this model.
The Jeep CEO explained that he needs more time before sharing details about future battery-powered Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles beyond the scheduled year-end discussion date.
Based on current developments Broderdorf considers the appointment of Filosa and John Elkann as the genuine leadership shift in the company. Our new leaders entered with dedicated energy to achieve success for our brands and customers. It’s a story of inspiring leadership.”
Broderdorf continues pursuing his original plans for success and the new management team gives him assurance about recovering the aggressive market position. “I am selecting which parts of the market to target and building Jeeps that match those segments.” But we will be disciplined the way we go. The madness will calm down. He has already done it.”
