Lamborghini Confirms 800-hp V8 for Hybrid Huracán Successor

The Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has officially divulged that the next generation of the Huracán – the vehicle expected to be the successor to the already announced and released Huracán EVO – will have higher engine specs of 800 horsepower or more equipped with hybrid technology. This move sits well in Subaru’s intent to transition to the world of electrification without compromising the level of performance the brand is known for.

Hybridization is one more aspect that represents Lamborghini’s election to the eco-friendly technologies by keeping burning oil without losing the driving pleasure. Lamborghini claims that adding electrification in an excellent driver-centric engine such as the V8, they achieve significantly improved power and torque, without sacrificing directness and responsiveness to the environment.

The choice of the V8 engine for 2025 proves that executives at Lamborghini are not afraid to stay loyal to a type of power unit that has been unapologetically associated with the company’s supercars. Hybrid technology which includes a petrol engine and electric batteries is likely to usher in unprecedented levels of dynamic performance and handling.

Lamborghini decided to make an official hybrid car announcement against the background of overall industry trends – more and more automakers start introducing hybrids and EVs into the high-performance market segment. Through the introduction of the Urus Performante, Lamborghini reconfirms its dedication to the pursuit of progress in the automotive industry and to be a pioneer in superior technologies for delivering high-performance luxury automobiles that align with the future of mobility.

It is indeed the most awaited supercar which is the next generation Huracán with 800 hp V8 Engine and Hybrid Powertrain. It is thus a vehicle which will create a new definition and threshold for supercars. Styled like no other, supported by unparalleled technology and delivering the exceptional power that is distinctively Lamborghini, the future model will satisfy even the most demanding and most passionate drivers and further prove the greatness of the marque on the automotive scene.
